SPRING BREAK HOURS (MARCH 18-24)

 The Welcome Center will be closed until Monday, March 24..

PLEASE NOTE: All enrollment is done on-line and remains open 24 hours a day at our district website at Carthage R9 Website.  During our hours of operation you are welcome to come in and get assistance or your may complete the process anywhere you have internet access.

Registration

• The Carthage R-9 Welcome Center (located at 710 S Lyon St) is a centralized location where families complete all enrollment and registration. Families will enroll all of their children at one location and have support and assistance in completing the process. Spanish interpreters are always available. The Center will provide parents with information on district programs and services as well as community resources. Welcome Center staff will make necessary introductions and connections to facilitate the transition to a new district and school.

Assessment

• The Welcome Center has a testing center for identification and placement of students in certain district programs. Our language programs staff will complete proficiency testing to identify students in need of language support services.

Federal Program Services

• During enrollment, staff will identify students and families who qualify for this type of assistance and connect them with our program liaisons. Information about available support services will be provided at the Welcome Center.

Special Services

• Students who have a disability, an Individual Education Program or a 504 Service plan need to notify the school district so that we can review and support the plans for education. Welcome Center staff will connect parents with the Special Services department.
